In an article titled 'Rule change across schools in England could mean pupils get two extra days off' published on June 9, on the Yorkshire Live website, we erroneously stated that the NAHT union "maintained" that two additional Inset days were required to "embed the changes" following from the Labour government's SEND overhaul. We have been asked to clarify that, in fact, this motion did not pass at the annual NAHT conference, which took place on May 1, and thus NAHT's position was made clear at that conference. The article has thus been removed.
